COMBINING FUNCTIONALITY & AESTHETICS

Our approach to restorative dentistry

Dr. Rob uses the latest proven restorative techniques to help to return your smile to its former glory. This involves repairing natural teeth that have good prognoses so you can retain them. When a tooth or multiple teeth cannot be saved, however, there are prosthetic options available to fill the gaps and allow normal functions. Patient comfort is our top priority, and you can be certain you’ll receive excellent care from our gentle team. Valley Dental Clinic firmly believes in patient empowerment: We know that patients are in the best positions to decide what treatments they would like to pursue. So we’ll provide you with appropriate recommendations and available options, but you will have complete freedom to choose what’s best for you.

DENTAL CROWNS

Custom-crafted to strengthen and support

If you’re experiencing pain, discomfort, or difficulty chewing because of a damaged tooth, you may need a dental crown. These custom restorations provide excellent strength and support to help you save and protect your natural tooth. Digital impressions obtained via our Trios scanner ensure each crown is made precisely and accurately for the best possible fit. At Valley Dental Clinic, we can make e.max, zirconia, or gold crowns, as well as Bioclear as a crown alternative. Bioclear requires less tooth preparation and typically takes just one visit.

DENTAL BRIDGES

Restorations for missing teeth

Dental bridges are a common restorative technique used to replace missing teeth. The bridge is attached to your teeth on each side of the gap, usually with dental crowns. A prosthetic tooth is suspended in the center of the bridge to fill the space. A bridge can be effective in replacing one or multiple missing teeth. Dental bridges at Valley Dental Clinic are primarily made of zirconia. Zirconia is a strong material that can allow your bridge to last up to 15 years with proper care.

PARTIAL AND FULL DENTURES

Customized to create your new smile

Valley Dental Clinic can fabricate partial or full dentures to replace your missing teeth. We use our digital scanner to obtain the most accurate measurements so we can create your dentures as precisely as possible. Partial dentures are a great solution if you have several healthy natural teeth worth saving. Your set of partial dentures will fill the gaps on both the upper and lower arches. They typically attach to your natural teeth with metal clasps, but we can make them without metal (flexible partials) in many cases. If you have none of your natural teeth left or if the teeth you do have remaining cannot be saved, we can make your full dentures using the same digital-scanning technology.

IMPLANT-SUPPORTED DENTURES

For optimal stability and comfort

Implant-supported dentures are a permanent alternative to traditional removable dentures. Implants in the form of small titanium screws are placed directly into the jawbone and fuse with the bone over time. The final denture then attaches to the screws for ultimate stability. Unlike traditional dentures, you’ll find that implant-supported dentures do not shift around or move. They feel the most natural and enable you to eat and speak just as you used to with your natural teeth.

BONE AND TISSUE GRAFTING

Creating a solid foundation

If there isn’t sufficient bone density, dental implants cannot be placed until bone and tissue grafting is done. Grafting bone and tissue from other parts of the body strengthens the site to better prepare the mouth for implants.

Valley Dental Clinic can also perform socket preservation after tooth extractions to help prevent bone loss and greatly improve the chance of implant success.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

A long-term solution for your missing teeth

Dental implants are a permanent and highly effective solution for people who have one or more teeth missing. They are built to last and look, feel, and function exactly like a normal tooth. You can eat, speak, and live your life normally with dental implants.

A good candidate for dental implants is a person who is otherwise healthy with sufficient bone density to hold the implant posts. It is important that there is no sign of active gum disease, and patients should be committed to ongoing oral hygiene and regular preventive cleanings and evaluations to ensure long-term success.
